Mini lesson

A useful PDHPE idea

In PDHPE, explain “so what?” after every fact. A statistic, training method or health priority only earns strong marks when it is connected to impact, equity, performance or prevention.

Students practise this idea first with a small example, then with a question closer to HSC difficulty. The aim is to make the method repeatable.

Practice tasks

Do you follow the student’s school program?

Is homework required?

Short, targeted homework is usually best. The goal is deliberate practice, not overwhelming the student with extra work.
