Individualised approach:

I run small classes out of my home. I take an individualised approach, and focus on targeting specfic weaknesses of my students, one at a time. Students may find certain topics in their school curriculum particularly hard, which demands more time and effort to be taught. Especially for HSC courses, schools are forced to follow a strict timetable, and often cover certain areas inadequately, leaving some students behind in their understanding.

My approach takes this into mind, and puts emphasis on the weaknesses of students, eventually turning these weaknesses into strengths. I take a comprehensive approach to teaching, and always make sure my students have no gaps in their understanding of the content.

Small class sizes:

I run small class sizes of about 10-15 students per class as I find this is the maximum amount of students before by ability to give each student individual attention is compromised.

Students benefit in a small class environment from the competitive energy it creates among students. (Click here for class availability, pricing and location)

At-home help:

I provide my students an online discussion forum to allow them to post their questions after hours. This way, I can answer their questions while they do their homework, instead of having to wait for the next weekly lesson. This allows them to focus on learning, rather than remembering what questions to ask next lesson.

I am also happy to be contacted by my students with questions relating to the homework I set, or material I teach. My current students often contact me via phone, email or instant messaging (i.e. MSN) when they have questions while studying at home.

Comprehensive knowledge of the HSC system

Part of being a successful student is also knowing the system in which they are subject to. I offer my students advice on what subjects to choose, and tips on how to achieve a high UAI, and achieve their HSC potential. (For more details, click here)
